From one extreme (110 yard kill) to another (20 yard whiff). That was a fun hunt Wade. You seem to have gotten the monkey off your back from the first of the season! I believe if you had tried to take that deer away from that puppy, you might've drawn back a bloody nub! I enjoyed it thoroughly!

Excellent video as usual....And as has been the case since I discovered your channel (and subscribed to it) it made me very, very jealous since again this season we are forced to remain in Maryland due to my wife's health concerns.....Maybe next year, Lord willing we'll be back home and I can FINALLY go hunting again.....Anyway, I have been able to get out and drive the back roads of Maryland and Eastern Pennsylvania some and I've witnessed some very large bean fields that have been and are being badly damaged by deer (BIG "UNs) and ground hogs (HUGE ground hogs!). Sadly, the folks that own those fields do not allow hunting on those properties and I can only assume they are writing the losses off on their taxes. When y'all are hunting do you just keep shooting for others even if you don't have tags for the kill?? I heard you say you used 2 buck tags(not sure how many you have) but if you ran out do you keep shooting to fill others tags or just let them keep going??? I'm from Canada so lots of questions

Hey Rylan! This year DNR implemented a new tagging system here in SC. We get 5 buck tags and 12 doe tags. 8 of the doe tags are day-specific tags and 4 tags are anytime tags! 3 of the buck tags are good for any buck with antlers 3" or longer. and 2 of the buck tags are size specific; the buck has to have 4 points on 1 side or have a 12" inside spread. The Blackville hunt club has loads of doe tags for the farms that they hunt so we don't have to use our personal tags when we hunt with them! They tag the does with the tags issued to them by DNR.

Been loading #3's for a while! I never used them in the field! My Stoeget patterns them so well I had a few rounds in the belt and 1 ended up in gun while I was stuffing rounds back in the shotgun after shooting at those other deer! That #3 round ate his lunch!!

Josh has had hard luck this year. He shot in front of deer. Those tight shooting reloads of Wades are great at long range but unforgiving at close range.I had to get Wade to open them up some for me. Capt. Buster

We have the same problem up here in Indiana we are severely over populated and that's cause no one hardly hunts anymore this younger generation here don't wanna do anything but play video games and sit in the house.. their lazy.Us older generation can't take enough out to make a difference and the farmers won't let anyone on their land to hunt because of ppl being careless and not watching where their shooting and end up shooting their livestock or their houses barns and tractors and can't blame them for not letting ppl on their lands because of idiot hunters.Hows the weather down there it's really cold here.
