This program is in its third conference in four years. The reason for leaving (MEAC)was for conference stability and better competition. How’s that working out for them.

@smc983 Considering NC A&T played for the Big South Conference title in 2022, year 2 in that Conference, it was working out well. It's been the puzzling coaching decision to get rid of Sam Washington after that 2022 season and playing for the Big South Conference title. The Conference change isn't the problem, it's been the Head Coaching change

@mistanderson No, fighting for the outright Big South Conference title against Gardner Webb was all that game was about in 2022. There was no 5 others in the mix. The problems came after the puzzling forcing out of Head Coach Sam Washington. But since NC A&T chose that route, they didn't go the route of interviewing a certified winning Head Coach, who was familiar with that region as far as recruiting in Davidson Head Football Coach Scott Abell. Or someone like FAMU'S former Defensive Coordinator Ryan Smith, who is at Murray State as a Defensive Coordinator. Or talk to Virginia State's Head Coach Henry Frazier, who has won everywhere he has been. Those would have been splash type hires. The Vincent Brown hire was kind of out of nowhere
