The control she exhibited over her instrument was phenomenal to witness from the audience. Her long-held notes were piercing and unwavering. She just stood there and made it seem so effortless. In addition to her beautiful intimate soul stirring tone. I’m not a Christian but you’ve gained a fan in me Mrs.Sheard as a student of classical music your technique is one to commend at 62 years old.

You don’t have to be Christian to know the influence the Clark Sisters have on music in general. It’s a rabbit hole of wonders and knowledge… AND VOCALS for days. Beyond your wildest imagination. For example, their mother is said to be the constructor of three and four part harmonies in groups and large choirs in which we’ve come accustomed to. And Karen can do her on echos/ reverb live (with runs and riffs) without any music software in her mic. The sisters are known for establishing the runs and riffs we’ve see many singers do today. And ALL of the sisters play piano, drums, etc.. Research.. and be amazed.
