Hi there, I just purchased one of these and put it together a few days ago. I'm getting ready for maiden flight. I noticed that in this video you reversed the aileron and rudder servos. Why did you do that? Thanks and great videos! Dan

+Dan Locurcio Hi, and great question. I needed to reverse the channel the aileron and rudder servos are on because they were moving in the wrong direction. When you move the Right Stick to the RIGHT, the right aileron must move up and the left aileron must move down, as viewed from the back of the airplane. If you are using a different servo or it is mounted differently, then your results may be different from mine. Same is true with the rudder. When you move the Left Stick to the RIGHT, the the rudder must move to the right as viewed from the back of the airplane. When you move the Right Stick full back, the elevator must go up. Let me know if you have any other questions. You must get this correct or the plane will crash. You can also ask for help at the field from an instructor or an experienced pilot.

Is there some how to do a panic button
@RCInstructor8 жыл бұрын
+Timothy Kemmerer Horizon Hobby does not offer the SAFE technology with the Panic Mode for the Sport Cut. If you want that I would recommend the E-Flite Apprentise S 15e. I have flown this many times as an instructor and it is a great plane to learn with. I plan to buy one and review it in the next month or two.

what dose the RANGE TEST mean
@RCInstructor8 жыл бұрын
+Timothy Kemmerer The range test makes sure that your transmitter will work OK when the aircraft is further away. It simulates this by reducing the broadcast power of the radio so that the signal to the receiver is as if it is much further away. It is an important test to verify the receiver antenna in the aircraft is in a good position. You should do this once before you fly the aircraft for the first time.

thanks you just starting out I have a SPORT cub S waiting for the DX6 to come next week do you recommend to start flying right away or stick to ground to get use the control of the plane

+Timothy Kemmerer The Sport Cub S is a great place to start. If possible find a local RC instructor to help test the airplane on the first flight. During the first flight, the trim will need to be adjusted a little to "allow hands" off level flight. The AMA website is the best place to find a local instructor, www.modelaircraft.org Otherwise, be careful and fly save and let me know how it goes.
