SC300 gets lower with new KBD Side Skirts

Yeah the SC only has two jacking points, the crossmember on the front subframe and the differential in the rear. You can also use the towing points at your own risk (I don't recommend this). The pinch weld points are for the safety stands.

well I'm dumb haha, I use a rubber mold that I put on my jackstands and jack it up from the middle and then add in the stands. Seen a lot of people do this but I also "cushion" the weld with the mold.

That last minute and a half is gold. This is why I preach about people understanding what they're doing and working with. Ain't nothing wrong with sitting down and figuring things out. I hope you get the passe ger side worked out. There is a huge lack of material for the wheel well 2nd inner screw and mounting tabs. I would say if you could attach the side skirt on the inner wheel well part. That's a good place to start to make sure it levels out and sits flush since you're missing both mounting clips. Mikkel, I need your opinion. TINT, do I do it myself or take it to a shop? I know in video I said DIY but TINT is a pain in the butt. Might take it somewhere because this is something I can take the L on... And yes, when I finally pick a color for the sideskirts, I'll be using welding those plastic clips into the skirt so they can fit a little better.

I agree, rivets or rivnuts are sooo hard to get in where the door's hinge is at.

I use the pinch welds to jack it up and put the stands on the 2 frame things in the middle. It’s pretty solid and never had problems.

How much lower does your KBD skirts sits compared to the 97+? I just found out my 92 SC400 came with OE 97+ side skirts from the previous owner and not sure if I wanna swap them yet. Thanks, G. Keep up the good work! Edit: I'm local I think lol.
