So... many, many years ago, my parents lived in Berkeley, in a duplex across from Mom Zimmer, mother of Marion Zimmer Bradley and Paul Edwin Zimmer. Mom Zimmer would share her coffee with my mom, which my mom adored and appreciated, along with the sound of the teens jousting and fencing in the courtyard between the duplexes.
I have been sitting on these slides for many years. Found my old flatbed scanner from 1999 and figured I'd have it a go (since we're all locked up inside anyway). I'm the baby in my mom's arms, getting blessed by the bishop(?). The slides are from two different areas and days. I'm not sure of the first half, but the second half was dated March 1968 (makes sense - I was born in February). Could it be the Spring Crown Tourney on March 23, 1968 (during the Anno Societatis II era)?
I got a little silly with the music, but, hey, why not? Enjoy, and please stay safe in these unusual times. Peace. Bob.
