I use 20-50 kawasaki oil for the engines and 15-50 Mobil 1 for the hydraulics. Walmart has 5 quart Mobil 1 for $28 and some change. Works great, and that's what my dealer told me to use. I'm thinking about a stand on for my next mower, but I've never used one either. The people that use them love them. Praying for your leg and hip brother. God is good!

@@DOCREAL1118 Lake Speed Jr aka the motor oil geek on youtube done a voa on mobil 15w50 a while back and it was around 1100 ppm zinc. I've been using it in a cheetah with the 37hp vanguard this season and will likely use it in my v ride after I use up the rest of the Kawaski oil. I used AMSOIL small engine oil last season in the vanguard but sent off a voa of a little I had left over, and it only had around 700-800 ppm of zinc, but they claim on the website it has a heavy dose in it. It worked fine but I felt mislead /disappointed on them marketing it high zinc when it clearly is not.

I remember the Bunton 36” walk behind as well as the Keyes. I wanted one but had already bought some Snapper 21”s. The weed eaters were Green Machine and Echo backpack blowers. Good ol days 🇺🇸

@@DOCREAL1118 spartan and bad boy are basically the same. The story I was given was 2 brothers created badboy and one split and made spartan. I believe both factories are within a mile. It’s got 460 hours and no issues but a spindle and key pad to start it.

A neighbor 0.25 mile from our home lost their house to a direct lightening strike in the early hours of Memorial Day from the severe thunderstorm that passed. It’s a total loss. I’ll never look at a severe thunderstorm warning the same again. Their house was beautiful 2 story and the owner had a great striped yard. So sad.

@DOCREAL1118 yes it does have a zddp additives in it but it also has moly and the two make a great anti wear additive I usually buy a 3 pack of 5 quart jugs for around 77 bucks so 15 quarts at a time but you can find a 5 quart jug sometimes for 25 or 26 dollars give it a try it's good stuff
