We have four Q3. If i get a different one, is there a way to connect all four of the Q3s to one newer model? So everyone can talk at once instead of just 2 people?
@MotoGeekFreak4 жыл бұрын
Ugh. I've been thinking about this one and unfortunately the answer is no. Because the Q3 doesn't have the ability to do "conference intercom" / aka everyone talking simultaneously it would take at least 2 of the newer models to get 4 of you talking together. Say you went to their Packtalk or Freecom 4 model, you could pair it up like this: -Q3 paired to new model x -Other Q3 paired to other new model x -Mode x paired to the other model x All four would be paired together and able to talk simultaneously. Hope that makes sense!

@@MotoGeekFreak got q3s hooked with 4 together. One on each channel so can call any of the other 3 individually

Mate is it possible to pair a Q1 with a Freecom2? If yes, how? Thanks
@MotoGeekFreak6 жыл бұрын
V4 Rider Hey there, yes absolutely! I have not done it myself, but the Freecom 2 is the “new version” of the Q1. They will 100% work with each other. Hope that helps man!

Good Sir - Can you explain the meaning of life in the same easy to understand manner as you did the intercom pairing on the Cardos??

Great easy to follow video.do you now how to stop the pairing disconnecting after 30 secs thanks
@MotoGeekFreak7 жыл бұрын
Thanks! If you open the intercom channel by tapping the button it will stay on until you tap the button again (all day). So, if you're paired to each other on your "A" channel, then just one of you tap the "A" button to start intercom. If you start intercom by making a loud noise, then it shuts down after 30 seconds of no talking. But if you do it manually, then it stays on until you manually shut it down. Hope that makes sense!

can you answer me - how to connect 3 way conference between Q3 - Q3-G9x ? is it passible?
@MotoGeekFreak9 жыл бұрын
Junger Bruder Yes that is possible, and you'll do it like this: Pair the first Q3 to the G9x using the "A" pairing channel on both. Pair the second Q3 to the G9x using the "B" channel pairing on both. You won't need to pair the two Q3 units together because the G9x will be paired to both of them. Since the G9x can handle conference intercom, when you pair both the of the Q3s to the G9x (one to channel A and one to channel B) you will have the ability for everyone to hear and talk at the same time. Hope this helps!!
@MotoGeekFreak9 жыл бұрын
+RaiTeK Yes, you've got it. That is exactly right, and all 4 will/can hear each other when they activate those channels. The G9(x) will act as a bridge between the two "A groups". Nice!!
@MotoGeekFreak9 жыл бұрын
+RaiTeK Sorry I accidentally deleted your comment but yes i have tested as you described and it works so that all 4 can hear/talk. Let me know how it goes for you! Thanks!

I tried to get a Scala Smartpack paired to a Sena SMH5 using Bluetooth Universal Pairing - it didn't work :(
@MotoGeekFreak7 жыл бұрын
MrScififan Should work must must be done in this way: -Smartpack in Bluetooth Intercom Mode (not DMC) -Cardo Gateway pairing mode for Smartpack -Mobile phone pairing mode for SMH5 -Wait for them to pair. If you weren't doing it like this, give it a go this way and good luck!
