1. Would watch self play testing streams 2. It could be very valuable for people who don’t know or have much experience playtesting 3. It could teach others how to self play test when they don’t have a strong community I used to do it all the time - very valuable

I’ve play tested a lot against myself. I have most of pauper built, like 20ish decks, and I like testing brews in paper against myself. I find the insight knowing both sides to be very enlightening.

I don´t really know why you´d necessarily WANT to play Emry turn 2 in traditional artifact Hardened Scales, thats ideally where you play Ballista or Ravager or Patchwork. I´ve played it a bunch and its somewhat of a topend card - the reason you care so much about the cost being reduced to 1 isn´t that you want to play it turn 1 or 2, its that there are so many 2 drops in the deck that you regularly lack a turn 3 play alongside your 2 drop and end up wasting a mana or spending it in a suboptimal way that Emry fits into really nicely. Its also a great way to grind out a game similarly to Ring previously, which was the objectively correct choice thanks to Wrath of the Skies ruining you without it at the time even if I hated playing a 4 mana generic card advantage tool in a deck who otherwise only has x spells and 1 and 2 drops. The card that by far has the hardest mana requirement in the deck is Hardened Scales itself, which you basically always want to play turn 1 before all your creatures which means you need a lot more green mana sources for it. Emry by comparison coming down turn 3 or later is much easier on the manabase. You do get slightly weaker vs Blood Moon running fewer basic Forests but thats not as big of a deal as being able to cast your spells and playing better cards.
