So basicaly after you make a scale bar and refersh, your model will scale on the real meassured scale? It will get a little bigger or smaller - up to the meassures?

Hello, can I do the scaling of the model even after completing the whole workflow? In detail, can I also do it after having created the texture?

Sorry I just saw this, yes you can scale the model after the whole work flow. Just need to have measurement between two known points on the model.

so you have to type in the distances in milimeters?

Yes, that seems to work in that way even though in Metashape the scale should be in meters

@@MrSchurst as far as i understand it, metashape doesn't actually export the unit (m or mm) but simply a decimal number. The program you view your exported object in (for excample a slicer for 3d printing) just assumes the the units to be mm. Some programs ask you about which units were used on import of the file so they can scale it according to the preset of the software.
