Also confirms there are no real violations of the second law. On the macro scale for example while it is *possible* for a person to throw 50 dice and get 50 x 6s on the very first try. While a theory that you could do this fails as a *violation of the second law* because the universe is not large enough to pay the entropy cost for actually getting that result which is (6^50 throws of the dice).

I am pleased to see how the relation between work and information is correctly used in the context of the second law. That is the information is real data which could be stored in a system like a computer and to do so increases entropy. It does not have to wait until the data is erased because the storage medium is finite, (ref Arvin Ash - gets this wrong). It is true entropy increases when information is erased but it is also true when it is recorded because any system of recording requires a real machine with real inefficiency and must generate heat.
