I use .5 for the ink and just use half the amount of diluted water to save on ink product.

For the same client can you mix up the shades on each treatment in trying to get creative on different shades of hair stubble or is it recommended to keep to same shade for each treatment?

some knowledge that I remember during studding cosmetic tattoo is that mixing pigment with distilled water gets infection to the skin!!!!!

Amazing that all smp artists use the same method and this never happens due to using distilled water 😅

Supermarket distilled water isn’t at the lab grade level that should be used for diluting ink for any tattoo, smp or pmu procedure.

i had SM done 3 yearsa ago. i truly love it! except the hairline itself is too hard of a line. a year after the work was done i realized the better procedures make a "soft" hairline which is not detectable. question: can mine be fixed?

Don't think so ....unfortunately tou will need laser to remove that and then maybe make it again ...
@johnthree16112 жыл бұрын
Yea, the best artists start with a lighter shade of ink on session one, then medium shade session 2, and dark shade session three. That's why it's impossible for smp to be fully done in one session. You may have to either laser it off, or wait 2-4 years for it to fade a bit and speak with an artist who has corrected that issue before.

None of these videos ever explain what to do with the extra ink after mixing so much, how long it lasts, how to store it lol... Incredible that everyone missed this

Cutting or dilution of pigment by adding water changes the property of ink this is a very bad way of color matching I would suggest using a smaller needle head for lighter applications but never cut pigment strength with water
