It's a whole lot thinner and melts so easily. I'm not a youtuber and I'm wearing one now. Had it installed for my college homecoming @ Morgan State U last wknd and I didn't feel self conscious about seeing a lace line across my forehead like with the so called hd wigs I have. I'm getting rid of all my other wigs and replacing them with theirs.
