This is genuinely awful. Scalpers are awful, but to be honest the ones to blame the most are within the Pokémon company. If there are large quantities of cards available then scalpers can't resell for ridiculous prices. Pokemon knew this would happen, yet they did nothing.

I think they have been printing to demend. The issue is that their distribution channels are compromised, and you have a bunch of people who have access to these channels and buy up the ETBs. It likely explains why sellers can't get their full allocations.

The funny thing in germany is, you need a "trade license" if you want to resell them that amount... only 600€ per year is free to do. Otherwise its tax evasion. My thoughts about this set: TPCI have to print this set to death. So scalper wont make any profit. You cant tell people "DONT BUY THIS FROM SCALPERS".... its their own money and if they want to burn their money, like with fireworks, they can do it.

This is stupid to even cry about, should be laughing. Only real LGS can presale items on TCGplayer, so he has to either eBay them or wait for release day. The price will tank on release day, it always does. It'll drop to 80-100, then he's gotta pay shipping and fees, any interest he racked up on credit cards buying all those boxes, he's probably gonna make about 10%. All the kids having a fit about this should be laughing at this loser.

It’s so funny too how these “investors” don’t like being called scalpers and call you lame and poor. Meanwhile they have the moral standards of cockroaches. Funny thing is too is that if the dollar collapses these cards mean nothing, there is no backing like with metals or goods. It’s not real investment it’s price gouging for a quick flip which is scalping and just cause it’s legal doesn’t means it’s ethical which is the argument. Most of these “investors” don’t have the emotional capacity to be told this. All of them rely on TCG players stats online and then sit there like meteorologists and guess the weather. When the product is going fast they tell people not buy so they can buy. They never accept responsibility because tcgi doesn’t print enough but whatever gets printed they find a way to purchase 80% of it.

If you are going to make a video you should at least have informed yourself. Tbell did not scalp these with bots from retail shops (no retailer has shipped yet). He is not in the business for a quick flip he buys a lot of every set that has come out for a while directly from distros.
