theres too many indian scammers, you cant really say it prevents another person getting scammed. Theyre on a list which will be reached eventually. The problem is the indian police are bribed by these scam call centres, so when theyre forced to raid them they do it at a time the office is empty, so those guys just move

Sadly it's all easy to bypass These scammers use Voip and use multiple numbers Best way to deal with them is waste their time keep them on the phone for as long as possible and then drop in the insults call them benchode or papachode ( for the Indian scammers )

When I lived in Perth, Western Australia I was plagued with scam marketing calls, mostly from women with South Asian accents. If I had time I would string them along to waste their time, but when I was busy I would ask a few personal questions, starting with "What are you wearing?" This usually got rid of them, with my number hopefully being crossed off their list.
