Same happened with me bro i have visited manali on 10 th January 2025 (couple package)the driver stop the car at a shop where we have to buy snow dress and shoes after buying shoes and snow dress they charged me 400 for gloves and sit socks which is never worthless the 400 rupees goes in vent after that driver told me that tourist guide is required for doing any type of activities and one person came under the car and elaborated about all activities on paper and told me that one activities charge is about to 1500 lumpsum per person (i have never visited any hilly areas and doing such activities that's why i have no idea about that ) after some time i realised that they want to scam with us but i am engineer by profession so i started asking that person that what is the charges of whole package then they count activities on paper and tell me 14000 for total (skiing,tube ride,yak ride,atv ride zip line,zorming ball, paragliding,...many more total 10 I can't remember all name etc)after that i told him that we don't want to do all activities but tell me the price of only 4 activities (zip line,skiing,tube ride,and yak ride) As per our interest they told me that all 4 activities charges will be 4000 for couple means 2000 per person including dress and shoes i started negotiating and final the price 1300 per person because they were not agreeing less a single rupees at last i have paid them 2600 for 2 person for 4 activities and they told me that one guide will go along with us and will help in all activities the guide is really good person by nature they helped us in all activities and took all photos from my phone also and all 4 activities we done in very good way The actual charges was very less as compared to package so i recommend never purchase any package and do negotiate whenever you think you are being scam... Only buy 50 rs shoes of live snow fall is not there and it's better to take care of your dressing if you go to snowy areas and activities do by own self at location (zip line-500, skiing -200,yak ride-200,tube ride-200 total 1100 or negotiate if you can I'm telling actual price) after that tourist guide recommended me that sir pls hire a camera man for better photoshoot along with mam I don't think that was also phissing i agreed they took 71 photos and ask for 40 rupees per photos (71*40=2840)but after negotiating i have paid last 1050 rupees because i have no option so guys whenever you go to any snowy areas pls research first on internet and watch some videos on KZbin because i think that we were also scammed when in the evening driver met that dress shop ..

I came 2 days ago from Manali. Complete scam. I booked car for 4 days and returned on 3rd day but they charged for 4 days. I took complete package of car, hotel with meal. I asked them for hotel with garden where my kids can enjoy when I reached hotel there was no garden and when I asked them they said full manali is garden(they were referring to jungle) I asked them should I leave my children to play in jungle? Talk some sense. Then I booked hotel on my own and this pissed the cab wala who has nothing to do with all this. After this he was showing his anger all the time. Abusing us. Next day he took us to solang and for that we were taken to wear dresses and they charged normal but again one person came and explained all the activities and for just 4 activities he told us 16000 to which I negotiated for 7500 in which skido ride was there. For which snow is req. As there was no and they didn't informed us. When I asked for skido he said this time snow is no there so no skido. U can take any other ride. I said I want skido or money refund. To which they said no refund. When I was negotiating with activity earlier at that time driver was also taking part and saying u r getting best deal and here u should pay 100 in advance. But when all these happened I called driver he said don't put me in this. I m here to drive. After that next day our plan was shimla from Manali and we cancelled it and planned for solang again but driver said I won't take u. Solang only once in package. And when I called the tour person he said diesel zyada lagega aur uska aapko payment karna hoga. I said r u insane? Manali to shimla 270kms for which driver is ok but manali to solang is 20km they r saving so much still I have to pay extra. I didn't visit solang again. I came back to Chandigarh planned short. Manali to Chandigarh he was just saying I haven't seen tourist like u and abusing. But I was with family and all locals also support him. Manali people are rudest won't ever visit again. People who look like Chinese were decent

Koi bhi package lena nahi chayee kisi bhi taxi wale ya guide ki baato mai aakar sabka commission hota hai destination pe jakar jo karna ho wo karo. Hum ghumne gaye tab hume bhi aisa hi bola humne mana kar diya. Rishikesh mai taxi wala ek river ke pass rafting ke liye lekar gaya aur rafting wale ne per person 1000 bola humne usko sidha per person ka 250 bola aakhir mai 300 mai maan gaya baad mai pata chala actual price 200-300 hi hai.
