Scam in Goa | Grand island | Jet ski | Banana ride|Scuba diving|Parasailing​⁠

This has been a very common practice in all over Goa and not just one beach. We also purchased bumper boat ride that my husband and daughter wanted to do. There was only one shed on the Baga beach that was handling it. The cost of the ride for two was mentioned as Rs. 600 but as soon as the sport started within 3 seconds he said it's done. My husband was shocked! He said if you want to do more I will take you to an island for Rs. 7000. My daughter was disappointed so my husband started to bargain. That was another big mistake. They both agreed on Rs. 2000 but that too lasted only 10 seconds and mind it was the cheapest bumper ride nothing like scuba diving or parasailing. We did all these sports in Maldives also and they were highly professional. I tried to reach out to Goa police on X but nothing happened. Please whoever is watching this video spread it as much as possible. These are goons trying to loot innocent people who are not aware of these scams.

hamm saab friends abhi 21 march ko activity wala package liye tha . aisa lag raha hamara pura experience aap word by word bata rahi. samjh mai aya jaane ke baad scuba ka alag ek package hota jisme ac ship mai le jaate hai woh theek rehta. sea ki haawa mai bardash nahi kar paa raha tha . activity ke liye colva beach hi theek hai rush bhi kaam rehta aur activity bhi sahi karwate. aur best thing i learn koi bhi cheez pre book mat kare waha par sahi rate milta jaa. hamne activity ke liye per person 1300+ scuba suit charge diya tha , waha jaa ke lete toh 800+scuba suit charge mai mil jaata . aur mera iss activity mai pura paisa barbaad hua due to sea sickness.

This is so so true. They take you in bulk without even thinking about safety and there is no island kind off. When me and my husband went each one inside the boat puked. Scuba diving they will do it in 20sec and not even a proper one. All rides from the boat you have to do which is not proper. Neva Neva do this activities.

This seems very scary and quite legit. I have also observed this attitude issue in many locals in Goa. It's bad for tourism, but somehow I feel, this is also directed mostly towards Indians especially - lure own people with bargain deals and then misuse and take advantage. So disappointing.

The same thing happens with beach packages also. Every time before the ride, they ask for extra money to increase the distance of the rides. This is very frustrating. Tourists come to Goa to enjoy but these people get scammed. Please tag the Goa tourism dept in your description. And tourists beware of these people.

Hum logo ke sath v aisa ho chuka hai last year . Humlog 4 couple the but 3 couple with their child waha gaye the mai nahi gaya tha. The same experience they faced there as you described. Sablog ne bahut problem face kiya aur jab nahi ho paya to kisi dusre boat se other end pe jake taxi leke fir north goa ana pada. Sara paisa barbad gya . Goa is not ideal place for water activities, all r scammers .

Few yrs back i paid 500 rs. While entering a dance club in night with my partner, they returned me 1500 rs. Me and my partner were in dilemma that what was that. I thought we will enquire while leaving. But after finding out totally hollow and totally rubbish services inside. We left that pub and kept those bucks with us as time wastage recovery. 😂 I recommend to enquire and then bargain too things to get scammed as less as much you can specially in Goa.

Im goan and also hv tourist buisness.This is all tourist fault. Ull go and book near travel agent, in that travel agent earns more then then the owner. (Eg. If ticket is 2000 rs travel agent commision 1300 and owner gets 700rs) i used to provide good service just by charhing little extra so i can provide guest with better enjoyment. But travel agent stopped putting guest for my business. Because travenagent couldnt earn 50₹ extra per guest. Book online direct from the business website u will get good and worth your money. And most scammers these are from outside goa.

Goan people (Not all) think little of indian tourists. They behave very nice and polite to foreigners but rude to indians. They dont realise at the end of the day both contribution is equal. I have been to Goa 5 times, i have felt the hate increasing towards indian tourist each time i have visited. Last time i decided not to visit again, i feel sad coz i loved Goa but Goa love foreigners only.
