It would be great to see a video of this from the cab but on the open road unrestricted by those speed bumps. Fantastic sound effects would love to hear it on song.

I will do one this summer on a decent bit of road. The banging over the bumps are the doors, I have bought some rubber pads to fit under the doors, just need to fit them.

Great Camera position Darren and engine nise too, ive had a Handyman in the past too.

Used to work on these and drive one as a recovery vehicle. It was a gate change with the gate missing. Horrible to drive and horrible to work on. Used to have loads of carpet over the engine cover in a bid to deaden the noise.

I worked on the 8 wheel tippers the fixed cab made working on them a nightmare.

I served my time repairing these things from 15 yrs old, Served my time at a Leyland Agents, these things were antiquated old crap. Like Most of the british trucks were & we didn't realise it, cos we knew no better. No wonder the likes of Volvo, Scania, MAN came along & wiped the floor. In My opinion sad but true, I ve worked on both sides of the coin.@@eddkennedy6458

So many points in the above comments, 50s technology with a 60s n, rather stylish cab. Still a mainstay of the BL offing at the end of the 70s (at least in the Routeman).
