Yeah this made me sad even though it’s kit. Because this shit happens. I always help my older loved ones get their stuff safely stored in the cloud or backed up externally in some way. I actually love the idea of pushing chromebooks on old people. It’s not foolproof and not scamproof obviously, but sandboxing helps and the system is simple to take care of. Just keep an eye on their browser extensions heh

Plus, many older folks need help with everyday chores , many of them lonely and depressed, barely making it financially. I want to thank you for doing this. I have learned a lot!! I went to visit my dad one day after work and low and behold he was on a call with a scammer (80 yr man who thought he was doing things right). He gave me the phone to talk to this guy and once I saw what they were doing (had on team viewer) and was "helping my dad get rid of the hackers and getting his anti-virus updated " I ended the call and he gave me a call back number directly to him ( not even a 1800 number lol). Rebooted Uninstaller viewer as it said that the other person could connect with current password and debriefed my dad on what they had done thus far and what was actually happening. Ticks me off that they prey on vulnerable people. From watching your videos I was able to immediately see this was a scam as they tend to stay with scripts. For this I thank you!!!
