A good friend of mine's husband was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer's. He was in the midst of being scammed and someone savvy at the bank prevented the transaction and contacted her. She had no idea and now has to unravel the mess since she thinks it's more than one account. THANK YOU for all you do. There are lots of vulnerable people who fall prey to these scammers. I gather a lot of these dudes are young.. say, teens to early 20s. And they've yet to really take in the difference between right and wrong. It's why they're so shocked and devastated at the blowback of the s**t they do. In a way, they're still kids, but that's not to let them off the hook at all. They need to learn hard that there's a price to pay for causing people pain, even at long distance. When they get away with it, they don't have to witness the suffering. All they care about is making lots of money, or meeting the quotas of higher-ups.
