No. Likewise, a lot of colleges will ban students who engage in illegal activity on the campus. They absolutely care about more than just the immediate fees. If their school looks bad, then no one will want to go, and they'll lose money. Simple.

These scammers take advantage of people who generally are not knowledgeable about computers and use that againt the victim to steal their money, so to someone experienced it may seem weird to fall for something like this when you have no experience the scammers make it a very scary experience for the victim and ride on that fear.
