Well done sir. I was a victim as well. It happened back in 2012 when I was 17, they approached me while driving my dad's van & told me a similar story. To cut a long story short, I gave them my HTC smartphone + R2000 as security. I learned the hard way, I was only glad they didn't harm me or take the car.

My husband was also approached like this we were buying a car at SMD and the guy pretended to look for a car as well and came to my hubby and told him about 4kilos of platinum and u get like 950 thousand but the security holding the platinum also want so cash upfront bcz they have been robbed before so they can't trust the security needed 15k but luckily he already deals in such so he knew the truth

If you want to c scammers go to golf terrace licences department florida ,I went there to booked for my driving licence ,those guys waving for assistance one came to me he said he is working with guys inside they will help cause booking will take long cause l needed this very much we used my phone to speak to the guy inside who told me how will b and my papers will be ready ,it means l must something to jump the q l then pay R800.
