I worked in tech support for an internet provider and got a call from an employee at that pawn shop, this was before the show began. I said I needed authorization to help him from owners as the father and son were on my data. The employee said "you really don't want to talk to the owners. They are not very friendly". I helped him with the problem.

5:44 - This is not a scam, the guys wants $2,500 and knows the pawn shop is going to beat him down so he started high. That's negotiations 101, and provided the bike was not a counterfeit or stolen he wasnt scamming anyone - if that's the case Les scams every one of his customers by listing one price and negotiating with buyers/sellers to seal the deal.
