Clothing and Warmth Layered Clothing: Dress your child in layers, including thermal wear, sweaters, fleece jackets, and a winter coat. Accessories: Pack woolen caps, gloves, scarves, and thick socks. Footwear: Carry waterproof boots with good grip for snowy conditions. Blankets: Carry extra blankets for added warmth, especially during travel. 2. Protect Against Cold Hydration: Keep your child hydrated as cold weather can dehydrate them. Moisturizer: Apply baby-friendly moisturizer and lip balm to prevent skin dryness. Warm Drinks: Carry warm water or baby-safe herbal teas to keep them warm. Room Heating: Confirm that your accommodation has proper heating facilities. 3. Altitude Precautions Acclimatization: Avoid high-altitude destinations like Gulmarg immediately upon arrival; spend a day or two in Srinagar to acclimate. 4.
