First time watching you! Nice job of explaining things. My Brother dealer has told all his customers when changing threads, to pull from the needle area, NOT tugging it back upwards towards the spool of thread. I’m confused...did I hear you say to do the opposite?...pull the thread UP to the top when changing colors?

That is correct. Our mistake. You clip from the top and pull DOWN. Thank you.

I have Quattro 2, I have the scan and cut CW 350, do u know if I can either scan an image which I think I can via usb and embroidery it out.

Hello! The ScanNCut does not scan for embroidery, only cutting. We have some trade in Dream Machines that have scanning for my design center. Or we can accept trade ins on the newest Luminaire that does scanning and projection. I hope that helps.

I have the Brother Dream 2. After I select "My Design Center" I do not have a scan button. Suggestions?

Hi Marti, in My Design Center it's a button on the top left that has two flowers and an arrow pointing to the right. Or try the two flowers with the word Illustration next to it. It's been a while since I've played with that machine. I hope that helps!

the Quattro has a Scanning feature with InnovEye® Technology and a 10" Pen Tablet for use with the My Custom Design™ feature. It has some capabilities, but the Luminaire has so much more. We as a dealer accept trade ins on Quattros for Luminaires a lot. Where are you located?

Next time when you are going to show a close up, can you pause longer to show what you did. You bounced to fast. I did like your instruction. Easy to follow and understand. It was like a light bulb went off for me.
