I think they key is saving scanned doc as ".tif" and not .jpg. It worked perfectly and saved all pages of my document.

Short and sweet: After you scan document using Windows Fax/Scan. Print the document and select "Microsoft Print to PDF" as the printer. Next, select the save as location, enter the filename and save. The video does a thorough job of covering the entire process if you're new to using the Windows Fax/Scan application and the Microsoft Print to PDF functionality.

To combine, any good PDF application, I use Nitro PDF, has a right click and combine feature. you can then add multiple PDF's to one document and arrange them in order.

This is what I did to scan multiple pages and save them as one PDF document. Select "Feeder" as the source and ".TIF" for file type. Then just follow her instructions. Hope that helps

To get multiple pages into one scan, you can scan each document/photo as described above. However, after each document is scanned select all scanned images and select print, then select print to pdf.

I am having a heck of a time scanning. When I follow what you said I'm still having my document cut up into sections with boxes around them and then it prints out every chunk of the box so it makes like 5 scans total of different parts of the page. I've called Geeks, they get it to work for them from their end and then it does it to me again. Any suggestions?

Do you see a "Microsoft Print to PDF"?

You may have to select it to view with Photos. Once that's selected, go back and the Print to PDF option should be there.

I think I had the same issue... in windows fax and scan make sure you use .tiff file format (not sure it matters but) do that and when you see the document you scanned in the list.. just right click on the name of the document and go down to print... then the box should pop up and have the drop down menu to print to pdf. Hope that helps.
