Well........This song is good, I always liked it. And theres other great music from the 80's, but the quantity and quality is very small compared to the 70's and 60's. But on the other hand, the music of the 80's towers over the 90's, and it's all gone straight to hell ever since

I agree, it is past tense. Too bad she couldn't keep her youthful looks. By the way, my late sister looked almost exactly like her. She had the same "meanness" as well. Furthermore, when Patty is crooning about her heart can't stand the pain, my sister died of a heart infection {infective myocarditis}. Even weirder, on Wikipedia it says this song is 3 minutes and 46 seconds long. You might think and? This is 226 seconds. {3×60+46=226}. My father died on June 22, or 22/6 like 226. The title of this song is almost funeral ready - Goodbye to you! My sister died on 7.16.2016 and my father died 6.22.2023. This song came out in 1982 or 1983, years before any of my family misfortunes.

The dance move Patty does at 0:35 is so damn cute. I remember my girlfriend (now my wife) doing the same move while we were dancing in the clubs 1982-1986. Loved it!
