Scandinavian Stars, fabric version

I have a hard time finding the proper paper for folding Scandinavian star ornaments (standard cardstock are not long or thick enough), but enjoy making them out of starched cotton.
One, two, or four contrasting fabrics all look pretty, and would be lovely in any colors you choose. White, silver, and touches of red are the most traditional colors.
These stars represent the Star of Bethlehem, and are given to people that you love and hold in high esteem.
