Scandroid - Pro-bots & Robophobes (feat. Circle of Dust) ft. Circle of Dust

Scandroid, the modern Synthwave project from Detroit based artist/producer Klayton, best known for his multi-genre project Celldweller, is Klayton’s love letter to the 80s.
The debut, self-titled album features 15 tracks, ranging from the driving instrumental energy of "Destination Unknown," to melodic vocal tracks like "Awakening With You," "Aphelion," and "Neo-Tokyo," rounded out with the cinematic epics "2517" & "Singularity." As a child of the 80s, Klayton has also included a cover of the classic Tears For Fears song "Shout," that he has been patiently waiting to cover since he first heard the song on U.S. radio in 1985. The digital album concludes with a bonus remix from synthwave artist Waveshaper. The 72 minute album depicts themes of a cyberpunk future where humans and sentient robots struggle to find a connection in their dystopian world.

AI is a massive grey area for me, a lot of potential but preferably not replacing artists by using stolen art, or impersonating people's voices (either used for bad or replacing voice actors)

@@rhexxgreymane4121 i am a programmer and have big data sets where i work with. i can say about computers one thing there are only that intelegent as the persong who uses it so ai are dumb af if you are so but the same can be saied about every tool. for example if you dont know how to use a hammer then the hammer is useles. i tryed some "modern ai" can say nothing have changed sins the last 10 years the only thing is computers are now faster and more afordable and people now trying again lerning progamming and the tools and knowledge are agin more accessable like in the 80s where the comodore 64 for example had not only a usermanual but all scematics and a full guide for its programming language and a full set of all cpu instrucktions and rom addresses who can tinkering with. it was fun but also a hard way of lerning. now wie have again a simple but powerfull programming language who people explore and do some usefull stuff and ai and data sets is one of its stranght. i downt know if you know about python3 but this is what was BASIC back in the 80s. a useful and powerfull but also a easy to lern programming language. i dont see AI for the moment a problem every thing you can see is impressive to watch but mostly scriptet shit thats calls attention but nothing more and the real AI stuff is used for sientific stuff like wheather analytics and forensic. the military is not interestet in ai becuase the huge random factor and less precition as plain mathematics and kinematic calulations. a rocket find its taret with mathematical coordanating algorithem not with prediction. for the normal people i dont see the point for ai. i have nothing in my private space who i need ai for. and for google stuff i dont know. yea you can find some interresting stuff but can it se the difference of a real thing or a shit post. we know all, for one god there are 3 bad. if you buy sonthing when did you post a comment about if it is ok or its down right bad. 3 of 4 only on bad. so therefore is the chance getting shit from a ai google search for you really high but people are lazy and no one look at google page 2 or 3 for informations allway the first even it is bullshit. ai is decades away for overcome us even if it is used in a quantum computer. there are also to speciffic in its funktion as can be used as a normal pc. there are at the moment no way possable. AI is for the public a nice toy to fiddle with but nothing else for the moment.

Replacing artists is a no no, I have yet to think of a case Im okay with ai art, as an artist, as it just leads to more disrespect to people who take time to learn the craft only to have their work merged with others to create something other people sell. I can think of other uses however, one example in another comment of mine by hiring people to make ai voices for people who are mute. Things like that, absolutely go crazy with it. Use AI to help people, not replace them.

I find it helpful, this may be promoting his other work, but the two have distinctively different styles. Scandroid is very synthwave while Circle of Dust is a lot more industrial and dark. Setting it as feat helps it distinguish itself as a less "happy noises" kind of song for Scandroid
