SCANIA 142 Plowing snow

BEAUTIFUL with all the snow. A mechainic buddy and myself are wishing for the first frost. Summer came way too soon. That truck is a bear! A single axle and a chheater. Fine setup. Very powerful and that V-8 just thumping! Makes my heart hurt it sounds so good. Also thought I saw some of the country of the Jussi's videos. Thanks Much!

I do understand 90% of what he says, since its a mix between finish and swedish. When you are a norwegian you can understand mostly of swedish and danish and someplaces in finland they do talk swedish so its kind like a nordic langauge that you can understand ;)

Nice video. It seems so unusual to see a heavy plow on a cabover truck. You rarely see cabovers of any kind here in America. Not better or worse, just different.

+B Laquisha Thanks ! Most trucks are cabover here in Finland ! Scania quit making conventionals in 2005 . And i havent seen a new volvo conventional since 1990 sometime...

+ForsTKM When I was visiting relatives in Finland in '81 the highway department trucks were a lot of Sisu's with conventional cabs. It was summer but it looked like they were set up for plows. Do they still make Sisu trucks?

B Laquisha Yes they still make them ! They buy component's from mercedes nowaday's . They had alot of hard times but survied so far . Hope you enjoyd you're stay in Finland ;)
