Mine arrived last week and I've used it several times to copy text and convert from English to German. Works fine, I had no problem scanning text to convert. I've not tried other languages.

Great review, because the point is to show the people what they will get, i was wondering if it work better that a ocr app integrated or downloaded on phones and definitively its a lot better to use ocr on the phone.

I bought thia a few months ago and could not load it to my Mac despite being told otherwise. It lay unused in the drawer until yesterday when I contacted Apple support and mentioned it. They said it only loads to iOS and that means an iPad or iPhone, It loaded to the i[ad but now I can't find how to use it even there, Don't know if anyone has a suggestion.

I'm going to be honest here. Good idea bad execution. Sometimes I need just some parts not just all the page so scanning just what's necessary is a good idea. But this scanner needs a LOT more work not good enough yet.

Hey guys, really, there is an audio problem on your recent videos. Voice only comes through in one channel and it can be quite disorienting.

we tested this on 4 different devices, there was no issue on our end. and the recent videos dont show those audio problems either, :)

Have you tested it with headphones on those devices to isolate the channels? I'm not the only one who has commented on this issue in past videos and I've not only tested it on multiple devices and with different pairs of headphones, I've also done an analysis of the audio channels. I downloaded the audio for this video and it's instantly obvious that the intro and outro are in both channels but Peter's voice is in the right-channel only: goo.gl/DaJan1

Very bad video review. Like you were forced with a gun to do it. But the video shows the first use very well, where it reads poorly due to lack of practice. After a couple of attempts, you get the feeling on how you should use a Scanmarker and then it reads with 95-100% accurately. It would also be nice if you showed the usage on a PC because the PC software is much better and offers more features than the mobile app. I have both a Scanmarker and a Scanmarker Air and I am happy with the performance.

No, I just bought one. It says it recognizes handwriting and numbers, but most of the time it does not. It also does not export into Word well. It gets all garbled. I have been messing with it all day. It is a great idea, but it was like they did not even care that they were putting out a bad product. Makes me wonder what they were thinking. Terribly inaccurate, even for printed text. Also it keeps crashing my computer every 5 minutes. Very disappointed...
