Ashley, that happened to me this morning, I was cutting out a watering can and half the side was missing, so used my hi tec point pen 0.5 nib. Worked out fine. Thanks x

Thank you yes SNC needs to be able to follow an outline, so you need to close up any gaps so it can create one to follow

Good to know you can use a fine tip pen. I’ve always used a pencil. Love the tip!

You should be able to use a pencil but as my stamped image was done in black I used the pen and it worked fine, thank you

Would you mind sharing which stylus you are using? It seems much longer than the one that comes with the machine? Do you know if an apple pencil will work with the ScanNCut machines?

It didn’t work for me, it’s only wanting to cut a tiny bit of a poinsettia there is no breaks in the lines
