🧑‍🏫 How this works?
The live broadcast consists of mirroring an Android phone screen while being connected to a RTL-SDR BLOG V3 Dongle and using the SDRtouch app using internal audio only.
🤷 Why is it done this way?
This is currently the only way I am able to provide a stream so due to a few limiting factors i'm unable to provide a continuous stream (for now) BUT! If there is something like a pursuit, fights, accidents ect, I will start the stream from my personal device for your listening Pleasure. 😁
👂 Who or what will you hear?
Majority of the time it's scanning Ontario PD, Malheur County Sheriff, Oregon State Police and Fire/Rescue. I do receive Nyssa, Payette, Fruitland and ISP tho these locations will really only be heard during major events or at a listeners request. I also receive Air COMMS!
⛔ Anticipate dropped streams!
When it does happen, it will usually auto-reconnect the downside is that sometimes it starts a new stream, so you might need to refresh the page. I ask for your patience and understanding as I am extremely limited in my options of streaming software for android so for now, it's the best I can do. I am hoping to be able to provide a consistent and more stable stream in the future.
