That's because I was on Nintendo and there are no motion controls for aiming.

I hadn't tried anything like this on gamepad or something akin to it, but I may have a suggestion, you may want to wait for reaper to charge straight at you and then blast it in the face, this qay it _should_ be easier than trying to predict its otherwise random trajectory, I'm not guaranteeing anythung, but you can try!
