Heard this song during D-Block & S-Te-Fan’s Defqon.1 set and instantly fell in love! The first drop almost made me throw up from how overwhelming those kicks were up in the front of that stage 😂 one of my new favorites and truly a masterful blend when it comes to collabs! 🧡🧡🧡

I dont know but something with this new evolution of hardstyle is off, cant put my finger on it. Cause i like the bass the drums the melody, but together its weird. I think some years back there was more variety of drums and melody combination what u can do with it. Now its like through a copy machine, it feels every track the same. Sure u have different melodies, but when the drums kick in the first time if its like through a copy machine again, u have like 3 variety of drums pounding around, nice, wont argue, but i dont see how more is better, more confusing if anything, but again thats just a taste preference i dont care really about this detail. But then comes the melody section, after that again drum solo section, then switches to drum+melody section, then drum again and end. In the past it was more focused on melody+drum duo, u know drums can do even the stupidest of beginners theres not much to it really, combining everything into a blasting track is the mission, not drums changing up like crazy. But again this is the new way for hardstyle and i hate it. Im not saying that hardstyle should stagnate and just be like from 10-15 yr back, no way, music needs to evolve, sometime its success other times a bust, but it keeps evolving and sometimes u dont need to change shit too much and sometimes would be nice if producers wouldnt copy from each other every damn thing. I mean except the melody part nothing original, nothing that stands out. If ud make set i wouldnt know, if id heard it for the first time, that what is what. Id think everything is one producer or dj made, then when u peel back the layers u realize that those are multiple artist yet sound exactly the same. Im a fan of the Headhunter that was doing really creative tracks, and i can come up with multiple tracks from the past that are very distinguishable one from the other. With these new ones, itss hard to make a guess even. I know im very bleak about it and too much whining i get that, im just really sad that the best era of Hardstyle is over and this, this new shit is a hit and miss most of the time, at least with me it is. But anyway sooner or later this whole shabang will move on and someone will start something new, maybe something better, greater. I honestly think that going back and combining it with what is now is the answer, blend them, mash them up and bring real bangers out. Like New Day or Rock civilization or Subsonic or whatever. I dont want the same over again, i want new, but something that is really good. This aint that. Works for me with Hardcore but not with Hardstyle.

your point?
@everx7 Жыл бұрын
@@lingblue4867 Its not good it needs to get better. Meaning that i want more diversity in tracks, as i mentioned they sound the same. I hope my point on this is clearer now.
@marmolejomartinezjoseemili9043 Жыл бұрын
how is this track not distinguishable? it does use a lead headhunterz has used a lot, but it still obviouslly is diferent than other tracks, besides, the break is defenetly more similar to d block and s te fan, because its a collab obviouslly, but idk how you can honestly say, maybe not with this track, but in general that everything sounds the same now, we have a million kicks, because now every artist makes their kick, same happens with leads, breacks not that much but theres still diference, a lot of choord progressions that hadnt been explored back in the day have been explored, and the rythm is now more in line with modern music but you would be surprised how much that could help hardstyle and not hurt it. I allways see hardstyle fanatics complain that the old was better, and in some cases it is, but you would be surprised how much music critics that usually hear other genres like more the new stuff than the old simply because well... the old has a lower quality and a very simple format and allthough maybe better melodies, it has less variation, so in reallity, only fanatics like you really think the old is really important to go back to so much in fact, that you dont see that its actually not a battle, the reality is that new hardstyle, is so much more diverse than new (if youre willing to explore the underground a little bit more) which means that it ramified, so the old is actually more like a sub sub genra of hardstyle and theres tons of diferent sub sub genras now you could say, but guess what!!! people still make old, check out Outer Mind if you want a more oldschool style, and stay there if you want, but stop complaining in comment sections about what only a few of you actually agree on

@@marmolejomartinezjoseemili9043 My opinion take on the matter, u dont like it, fine, i dont like urs. I started listening to HS back in like 2006 or so, so not from the early days what 1999 or so, dont know, im sorry. BUt still, im not one of those that like to reminisce about good old days. But the truth is that even Hardcore became a shitshow. It started out silly, then around (for me at least) 95-96 things begin to change, tunes got more darker harder simply better, yet not all the tracks did resemble one after the other. JUst listen to i dont know one of my favs Dj Perpetrator Maniacs and then go and listen hm Chosen Few name of the dj, i mean surely u can hear how much difference it is (even if lets say the same producer would made both, that is the case in some projects) Again, evolution is a good thing done right. This aint it. Sure as u explained there are things that are great or better even. I wont deny and i never said that its shit. All i was saying that something is not right, not sit with me as it should. And probably its the structure of the tracks or the ever changing drums, but something feels wrong. And before u might go on saying anything, I really wasnt a fan of Angerfist (i know hardcore etc., but its just an example), before this new revolution hit even in Hardcore, probably there where it was first, dont know, dont care. But as he began doing the new with the old, i mean its epic, its on another level then what he did before. But fans loved it even then, they cant here the difference. Again only my personal experience, if u find it that im entirely wrong, its ur right to do so, its ur view on the matter ur opinion. What i can tell u that he evolved and i think what he does now its awesome and im not really keen on Hardcore, at least not like i was in the 1990s or like more the middle parts of the 90s, after a while i got alienated from it all. And thats when i stumbled upon Hardstyle. Searched for something kinda hard like HC, but with great melodies, and behold Headhunterz is the first, last of the mohicans i believe, fell in love with it. And then whatever track he did, i like it/loved it. Cause he hit the nail on the head every time, he changed things and every song felt different. Now i dont feel that, the structure of songs is very much the same (as was before) but then nothing experimental going on, just following the formula. This was the case even in 2000s and 2010s of course, many did the like blueprint essentials only, from what i can tell the more experimenting done was by brennan heart, headhunterz and some others, but the majority did theirs likethrough a copy machine too, again, not all was even back then roses and unicorns etc. But now i feel its almost every track feeling the same. And i really try to listen to this. Am subbed. Trying to follow new releases as best i can and i dont see nothing innovative. Again, its my feeling only, maybe im entirely wrong and later will hit me, how wrong i was the entire time. Better later then never, but as of today i feel how i feel. No matter how well u articulate ur reasoning why its better etc. I must feel the music be better. I dont feel it. Lets leave it at that. Think about me whatever.
