For those who struggle with dyslexia, coloured and lined overlays are super helpful especially from a young age. unfortunately the colours will change overtime but a common colour is green. some are blue and others are pink. It's really what ever keeps your eyes fixed to the page without trying.

Characteristics to look for in fonts if you have dyslexia: sans serif (without serif; like Ariel, without extra decorations in the letter) non italic, non oblique (non kursiv, slanted) Monospace (every letter takes the same space) according to one site the best ones are: Ariel; Courier; Helvetica; Verdana. And then there are special ones like Dyslexie and OpenDyslexic. There are others that also work. Even if its controversial alot of people recommend comic sans espacially if you want write books.

I think the solution to the mending book problem could be to make mending acquirable in another dimension beyond the End/Nether. Players would have to defeat difficult mobs and a harsher environment to get mending and new gear, instead of just finding emeralds and buying infinite mending. Then Minecraft can remove buying mending from early-game villagers and make it a late-game high difficulty item (which players would need to survive for the harsh dimension)
@justinchoy56078 ай бұрын
They added it to the loot tables in the trial chambers
@zzeroara95118 ай бұрын
there's always the chance we'll get a dimension we can go to through that giant ring in ancient cities. maybe, in a scenario where we get this, there'll be a bunch of new enemies and dungeons that give you pieces to create a key that guarantees you get a mending book, among other good rewards (probably an extra mace, good armor, netherite scrap, etc.). I do agree minecraft makes it far too easy to get mending and I feel this would be a great alternate
@ca-ke94938 ай бұрын
Actually what if they made a way to remove randomness from enchants if you reached end game? It could be that some enchants can be gained "guaranteed" if you go to specific temples/locations that is in the end. And make it farmable but in a way which is very difficult and only for end game, so we incentivize the more challenging and fun way. Lore wise it could also make sense, villagers have gone to these places and gained the knowledge from these gods and now is able to trade these special items to the players.

You’re absolutely right about Disney and the nickle and diming! My family and I used to go to Disneyland fairly frequently (like maybe every couple years) and we haven’t been for quite a lot longer than that now and it really frustrates my parents bc they remember when Disney was a place you had to buy tickets for individual rides inside, and then it switching to be so expensive to get in but all rides included and fast passes being free (I remember them switching that and being annoyed). It makes my family not want to go, not bc they couldn’t maybe afford that extra money, but bc the allure of Disney is that it’s not a place that nickel and dimes you, it is supposed to be an expensive ticket price but otherwise you could theoretically go without spending money. And the portions used to be giant! I can’t imagine ppl are thrilled with them being smaller when you’re hungry from walking all over the park and being in the sun AND they charge so much for food

streams are so great and this one had streams being built on stream which is such a wonderful thing! as someone who lives in the land of the FL mouse, back in 2012-13, fast pass was that little machine that spat out a paper ticket that said something like "come back between x & y time" and so you could easily get four of those staggered for different rides and go ride them. and do that over and over for each ride multiple times a day (i think my friend and i did it like 5 or 6 times for Space Mt). went 2 or 3yrs later with a friend's family, that was gone and it was bracelets (i didn't have one) and then still "free fast pass machines" but they'd changed it so you could only do for each ride once per day. Now it's all paid, but so is Universal's fast pass and universal did paid fast passes first if i remember correctly. Sea World has fast pass but i've never used it so i'm not quite sure how it works, but it is also paid. by far the cruelest thing any of them have done is started charging per hour for the lockers. as a kid, Sea World didn't have lockers, just bins at the start of the rides near the tracks, and the other parks (RIP the best one Cypress Gardens was 10/10) had lockers but it was idk five/ten bucks for the WhoLe day, not almost 5$ an hour :(

Sounds like a pointless grind to run around and find the exact villager for the thing you need. So impractical. But they do need to nerf them, but not like this. And they need to make the enchanting table more consistent or add the ability to narrow down enchantments

About enchantments and villagers, i believe they should implement a reading system where you either buy certain words which can later on be combined with other words(which can be in the form of scrolls) that is dropped from bosses or even fished, and they could also add maybe wizard villagers that you either have to kill or give items or emeralds to to upgrade the enchantment, and the enchantment should not be random when you try to enchant an item, instead what ever you learned can be used directly, i know that would be a major change but i feel it could be more fun to explore the world to get enchainments. (Wizard villagers can be in all biomes or even the nether for example to get fire resistance enchantments)

Instead it's just a bunch of execs making all the creative choices and doing a poor job because they don't know what they're talking about and are out of touch with what people would actually enjoy. All the new shows and movies lack real heart or enthusiasm for the story they're telling bc the people in charge of running them only want to make the "safe" story choices
