Scaramucci: High threshold needed for prosecuting state leaders | CUOMO

Former President Donald Trump has been invited to testify before a grand jury that has been investigating hush money payments made during his 2016 presidential campaign. It signals the former president may face criminal charges in the probe. Former Trump White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci says if prosecutors do bring an indictment, it would be akin to “getting Al Capone on tax evasion,” given all the other allegations Trump has faced. In Scaramucci’s view, the United States should have a very high threshold for prosecuting former elected officials.
