What a night. The mad thing is that was a poor Boro side who struggled after the play off defeat from the season before. Martin Russell was absolute class, how on earth we found 105k to buy him remains a mystery. Up the Boro.

A good mate of mine who supported Chelsea long before it was fashionable said this was probably the low point of his time supporting them, travelling all that way midweek for this. Still it's what football's about and as a true fan he appreciates that.
