Factually, Cape Town is more dangerous than Johannesburg; they won't tell you that because the not-so-good areas are far away from the tourist spaces. People die daily of violent crime in Cape Town than in joburg because of gansterism, and to add on top of that Cape Town has more organised crime than Joburg.

Best off luck with the rest of your stay and I really hope you will come back and experience the rest of our beautiful country.

the west/Europeans have been taught that Africa is bad and unsafe. To me, any one that's from outside of Africa I view as ignorant and I would rather people not visit my country if they're specifically looking for the bad. Africa is a beautiful place and like every corner of the world, it has its problems but Africa is bigger than one small area that's bad because of the systems that were put in place to keep African people down.

welcome to the motherland. when it comes to Africa people make it feel like you find dead bodies allover the streets. ,people just want to put Africa down while milking it of its resources. i've been to over 40 countries and every country i go to people worn us of certain areas that are dangerous. i,ve been to south America, central America all over ,the Carribeans the likes of jamaica , Trinidad , mexico, brazil Guyana etcs those counties are more dagerous than Africa , but because of ignorance they vicitmize Africa. actually most of those countries don't even come closer to what we have here. look at our architecture with concrete materials not even America the so called first world can win this. the quality of life at a fraction of what you pay in western countries

Our parents are Jamaican and Trinidadian, if you look back at our vlogs you'll see we were in Trinidad and Tobago for 3 weeks this year, it has a similar reputation to Joburg and just like Joburg, the dangerous crimes isn't happening everywhere, all the time. We went to town where they would say so much muggings would happen but yet in the groceries stores you could leave your handbags or backpacks on the shelves right by the door and no one is touching them. We need to start creating our own narratives, which is what we are trying to do with this channel. Thanks for your comment
