SCARIEST MOTORCYCLE DRAG BIKE RACER ON OLD SCHOOL SUZUKI KATANA! WHEELIE FAIL ON NHRA TRACK!

Take a close look at what has to be one of the most remarkable motorcycle saves and sport bike crash escapes on this 1991 Suzuki Katana at the NHRA Drag Bike Races from Fontana, California’s Auto Club Dragway - Speedway. On a motorcycle bought for just $700, Jay of Compton MC got a little too aggressive on the launch with the throttle and clutch , which resulted in an unbelievable , out-of-control Superman wheelie. Somehow this rider was able to recover from what the photo sequence indicates will be a certain accident. Instincts took over and Jay was fortunate to get a couple fingers on that clutch lever to calm down this 136 horsepower classic Suzuki street bike. Luck was there, motorcycles are gyroscopically balanced on his side, he has a friend upstairs on his side, and old Suzukis only spit off riders unworthy of them!

Both time a 90 gsxr, and both times smashing that oil pan screw coming down off a wheelie. Hes right, he's blessed because theres not much time to think in the 60 foot mark.
