Scariff - A Birds Eye View

Just happened to see the Fire Service drive the hoist into Scariff and took a chance that they might let me up in it. They kindly said yes. How many times in your life would you get the opportunity to take video from 90ft up ? Enjoy a birds eye view of the Town, Lough Derg and the surrounding countryside.

Twood nearly bring a tear to me eye .l grew up there fadó fadó .lt hasn't changed much. I haven't been back since 1979.Thanks for the video its like a time capsule. (I stepped on board a vision and to Scariff I did fly) yea just like in the song.
