the baroque mandolin is a gorgeous instrument. I'd still rate a 6 course citole above it though.

@@miguelangelmartineztarazon8184 The baroque mandoline is tuned like a modern mandolin as far as I'm aware, so in 5ths. The citole I believe was also tuned in 5ths, but the medieval and renaissance period instruments were less strict, and were often tuned however the player preferred rather than in an agreed upon standard.
