This is one of the most beautiful videos I’ve ever seen. The music made it just perfect. It makes me realize that the world and this hard, hard life still have something wonderful to offer. I wish to see these magical creatures in person one day, flying freely in the sky and in their natural habitat, where they belong. Thank you. You made me cry.

I bet if you breed An army of each species of these birds trees that depend on these particular birds would sprout everywhere in rainforests where there is deforestation and abandoned areas You might wanna let that secret pass on to other Aviculturalists Around the world oh and make sure that those particular parrots Are released in their own continent

WOW. Absolutely breathtaking n this is the sort of bond humans should be building with our bird/animal friends. No wonder macaws are called flying rainbows, they are just so beautiful!

*Lynn Oldfield* At first glance these birds are the best but an African Grey flock can be just as beautiful. But that doesn't matter in the least. What matters is that we as humans adopt these animals and change our life style to their needs and not the other way around.

I think that wild macaws should stay in the wild but ones that are born in captivity should have the life that is closest to the one they would have in the wild, sad thing is that many people take a macaw and put them in a little cage and then they have to work and etc, if you have a macaw then you should have a LOT of time for him/her and they should have a very large space with a lot of toys to play with and a right diet and again this bird is not for lazy or busy people , I am always soo sad if I see these birds neglected again because people dont have money or time for them

There are people who free fly their parrots. The birds are trained to fly around and come back, with GPS on a tail feather. You probably know that already. BirdTricks is one of them on KZbin. Carolin von Petzholdt is another one. Carolin takes her Mccaw out the park and out to places to fly. Carolin is a little dramatic with her video titles, but that is cool, she really can be funny.

Decades ago I worked in an exotic bird store. When I learned that the “suppliers” were bird smugglers, I quit. Nobody, having seen exotic birds flying free, could ever sell a bird to live in a cage again. Watch a McCaw fly free and know, no matter how big the cage, it’s a crime.

The canaries and the aviary parrots are domesticated animals
@FluffySpino4 жыл бұрын
I mean my bird has the option to fly away if she wants, she never does. Plus birds you get from reliable sources are domesticated to the point they don’t know how to survive in the wild, taking wild birds is a horrible thing and should not happen along with improper housing and care of domestic birds. I would never support that
@hrfdude42342 жыл бұрын
@@FluffySpino to quote Shawshank Redemption: "These walls are funny. First you hate 'em, then you get used to 'em. Enough time passes, you get so you depend on them. That's institutionalized" what you say is true, a lot of them can't live outside on their own, because they're "Institutionalized"! that doesn't mean it justifies the act of imprisonment of a free animals for your own eyes and soul! no matter how good you make the living conditions for the bird! if we don't buy them, they won't be bred in captivity in the first place!

So we do? Because I'm pretty sure you would tell someone to stay inside if they were naked and running around outside. Actually,they would get arrested. But Noooooo other animals get to "stay in the wild" while humans who are animals too get called monsters to capture other animals when some animals KILL EACH OTHER INCLUDING PARROTS!

Wild birds being who they were created to be. I visited a parrot sanctuary recently and while the surrendered birds received high quality care, they will live out decades..DECADES ...in locked down aviaries , all because of the bird breeding industry. So sad for these beautiful creatures. Please people... stop buying birds. Adopt if you must, but adopt for the long term.
