It's possibly the best game I've ever played. I've never been so invested in a story as I am with this. The combat is awesome and it keeps bringing new objects to Control so the game stays fresh.

Have to agree about the story I can't predict anything. (Usually good at guessing where a story is going) love the combat too and how the enemy's are designed to make mess around with everything. Yes I have heard a second playthrough had similar environments but the story is really interesting to me and it's been a while since a story in a game has had me thinking about it and trying to put everything together while written well.

Woohoo! Scarlet Nexus is FINALLY out! And just watching this Launch Trailer already, it's going to be very hyped, especially for the first time. And as expected, both Yuito & Kasane and their own parties will end up working together in the end. Affiliates at first, even though both Yuito & Kasane are new faces between each other & both their parties of their own, then later on as enemies, as shown in the earlier trailers before all the others where Yuito & Kasane are fighting, then finally as Friends and Allies of both Teams Working together. Definitely sensing a Dark Side of the Others Suppression Force (OSF) in this game from what I've/we've seen in this Launch Trailer. Man, just watching this is definitely getting me hyped and excited in both wanting to play this game and/or even watching the Playthrough/Gameplay/Walkthrough of Scarlet Nexus! Thank you so much for this releasing this game, Bandai Namco Entertainment & Team. This is going to be one hell of a game worth playing for us Newcomers. I know I won't get this game right away, but I know that I'll end up playing this game anyone whenever I get the money for Scarlet Nexus. Even if on Christmas somehow. Anyways, Thanks. Let's getting on and go, as well as for the success of Scarlet Nexus in 2021 this year!

Played thousands of games I can say It’s sick awesome .Most badass smooth combat I’ve seen with new Machanics of fighting to the table. People just know it has a steep learning curve for you newbie gamers . Even Normal difficulty boss fight was a bit of a terror. But it will make you a better player. Just know that boss can kill you one hit .

Recommend Kasane for adept players first .Her weapon is more unique. Her personality is cut throat, lighting is cool and just better backstory . If you want the most out of it I’d say she’s probably the better route,but for new players who aren’t so skilled yuito cause he has more defense and more likely to survive numerous hits and simply cause he a newcomer to joining there ranks .

I'm only now learning about this game. Is it in any way similar to Astral Chain? Not necessarily the story but the game style/mechanics, etc.

Actually, if anyone asked me to compare it to any other game in existence it would im fact be Astral Chain. The whole setting is similar (dystopian future with huge threat against humanity), you play as a special forces member who fights those threats. It's action game play as well. Even the soundtrack could be comparable. The actual battle system is different ofc since Astral Chain's was very unique and tied to the lore but this one is unique in its own way. Side quests are a lacking compared to the side activities in Astral Chain (like... balancing ice cream lol). It also has some light Persona elements thrown in there because you have bonding events with your party members. But overall it's very Astral Chain, yes. Not in a bad way tho, it's by no means a copy. All I am saying is of you enjoyed Astral Chain there is a good chance you will enjoy this too.

@@symphonixblades OH her. Yea, she's a pain. She's one of the few bosses you actually want to stay close range for. So she doesn't do her rush attack. Also, be cautious about how you fight. Take the time to learn her patterns and make heavy use of block and dodge.

That’s the beauty there isn’t one better than the other . Just more what kind of player you are .but both have there own element and unique style to fighting.Kasane if your a advanced player.Yuito if you aren’t. I went Kasane first. Better backstory ,unique weapon, she’s cut throat and to the point knows what she’s doing. Yuito still figuring the mix out and hesitant. She’s lightening element he’s more fire. She’s offensive only. While yuito has defense .she has AOE to hit multiple opponents , he hits 1hard at a time , she keeps slight distance he don’t,Hope helps you in your decision
