Heya everyone :D Gen here from C27 Minis & Terrain. Here's our process in sculpting miniatures starting with the Zspheres method sped up 10x. I learned this method from Daniel Williams when taking his Dynamic Figure Sculpting in Vertex School. This miniature is sculpted for our Patreon - / c27_miniatures

This is incredible! I love watching these. I've been wanting to get into 3d sculpting like this (have played a little bit with blender). What sort of setup do you have? I presume you use some sort of drawing tablet?

Amazing job 😍 may I ask you how did you make the cape at non.22.58 right before turning on dynamic subdivision?What function did you use? Thank you 😊

Sure! :) Here's my steps for making capes: 1. Import cylinder 2. Delete front half, top, and bottom faces 3. Remove horizontal edges 4. Position half cylinder onto character 5. Move the end vertices for silhouette with the move brush 6. Add horizontal edges 7. Improve Silhouette 8. Add vertical edges 9. Improved Silhouette 10. Enable dynamic subdiv to see overall look 11. Sculpt folds Here you go! Although now i'm also exploring the dynamic cloth functions. I'll make another video if i like using it. Cheers!

@@c27ministerrain43 thank you so much for it (: I almost use the same steps for sculpting capes, I asked you because at 22.58 the cape mesh became wavy without using the move brush so I think there is a function unknown for me 😅 the dynamic cloth is the perfect way for making long woman’s clothes or long clothes in general imo, I found it a lot tricky for making capes or flags or any “suspended” object.
