I really hope this game is good and I hope that the community doesn’t get super toxic. Because I’m actually excited about this game and I have sworn off PvP shooter games for years now because of how toxic they can be. But this just looks so creative with all the fun ways to utilize the endless catalogue of amazing characters and their powers. I also really enjoy the design for the characters. I love that they included Luna ❄️ SNOW ⛄️ and Magik!

SAME! I returned to OW a few times just to play with friends and the community is pretty toxic. Hopefully those people just stay on Overwatch and don't migrate here, but I feel that migration is inevitable.

@@valstarlight you seem really good with her ult. i try to wait to use it until the enemies are already low and my team is pushed in, but i get focused down pretty fast. do you have any tips?

@@h-tv3vr I was struggling really hard with it my first few games, then I learned that you are way too vulnerable unless you sneak around a bit first. I'm no pro by any means, but I would suggest hiding behind something, triggering it and trying to countdown how long before the boom. Then once you got it down a bit, start it up - count and inch out into the open. Use her shift to fly into a spot if you need to too!

Some of the roles are not what I expected as well. Loki is a support, Magneto and Doctor Strange are tanks... They tried to think outside the box, but it does feel a bit off until you get used to it lol

i hope i get in soon. There are tons of abilities and team ups should be cool. Scarlet witch seems strong. I just wonder how her movement is. Not gonna know til i get a feel for her but I wonder if she lacks dancing. The 8 minute death to Loki was brutal. In overwatch theres a 1v1 dance where you circle their flank and juke them around til you have advantage. People do it in FPS games until one hit melee with knives stopped that shit.

Yeah, good luck getting in! That 8 minute death to Loki was pretty brutal watching it back lol. I could've phased out, but I think I thought I was going to win if I landed the right clicks (which I didn't).

@@valstarlight headshots are a lot easier if you have to jump... The skill gap might be a little wider. Cheats are always an issue so they have to be careful with adding new characters and rebalancing actually makes cheating more obvious. Usually people do report cheaters but knowing whos cheating has been tougher. I've been playing Apex lately after a 7 year hiatus... ugh the cringe

@@newinhuman Yeah, I can see that. I played Apex a bit in the beginning, but the gunplay in that never felt... good to me? IDK I have a weird love/hate relationship with that game, because the gunplay isn't fun to me, but the movement is top notch. Is cheating really obvious/bad in that?

@@Azaism No way to spend money in the Alpha. They have your typical skins, sprays, avatars, etc. So, I'm sure there will be money to spend there on release, but not much different than the norm and not nearly as predatory as some of the gacha games out there.

But then, again, I don’t think I’m gonna hold my breath, considering that Disney/marvel has a hand in this and anyone who is keeping up with current events, knows that Disney’s not doing so well and they’re doing whatever they can to try to either cut costs or raise prices so that being said, the only thing this game hast to do to succeed is the things that overwatch did wrong in the end. 1. Do not make the cash app the main star of the game and if so, try to not make things in the shop cost as much as the game in general. Unless of course this game is free to play then I guess they have the right to charge as much as I want. But again, Disney’s not in a good place so I’m a little nervous about that as well. 2. Generally hear the feedback from the players and try not to take forever to fix said problems. 3. Steadily release Contant throughout the year not much just maybe have some events and maybe put in one or two more characters per year should be OK. 4….(and frankly, this one replies mostly to me I’m not sure if other people have the same feeling) try not to force players to marry this game and create a incredibly unfair, grinding scenario that makes it so that even the free stuff takes countless hours to acquire, then offer a special paid version that allows you to do what should’ve been available for the free version…. And all that with a straight face like you’re not trying to get away with something….(I’m looking at you blizzard/activation😒)

Right now, it's only through a code. There was a sign-up period that I got lucky enough to get in to. I think you might be able to score a code from other content creators through streams and what not. Sadly, I was given no extra codes.

Yes and no. It's a typical hero shooter like OW, Paladins, etc. However, the characters have a lot of the abilities from those other games kinda mixed together. So, I wouldn't say a 1 to 1, but pretty close to the norm for this genre.

This is just the Closed Alpha Test(first one as far as I know), but the game feels relatively polished with what's in currently. Definitely needs some tuning, but I feel closer to release than not. That's pretty vague, but more or less all we know right now. Also depends how many more characters they want to add before launch and map types.

Curious how melee is expected to accomplish anything in teamfights given how fast focused fire melts people. Seems like ranged is just the safer and better option.

Yeah, it seems pretty rough especially given health values. I think melee could benefit from a little more health. The tanks obviously do alright(Hulk and Groot especially). I played a little Black Panther and it was tough for me, but I'm also not that great. Interested to see how characters like Spider-Man and Magik feel up close.

Feels like most of the issues (at least in my brief experience so far) would come in the form of tuning some of the OP characters. Game handles and feels really polished already imo. Might not be that far out! Fingers crossed!
