It’s only takes a second to put together what is meant, and it was pretty insulting to her standing there, post-partum. As well as insulting to all women. It’s wasn’t edgey, it was punching down. As for not showing that part- it’s entirely possible she didn’t want to have to watch her labia being compared to a roast beef sandwich after giving birth, again, on live tv. Anyone who wants to see it can choose to watch the segment in its entirety and judge for themselves.

We basically just sit around and flip it on only about the time we know weekend update will be on. It's amazing. I'd say Colin and Michael need their own show, but I'd hate for an extended time frame like a 30 min show to mess up the magic. It's a perfect segment. @ Name a woman who just gave birth and had her hoohah’s current state compared to a roast beef sandwich, live on tv, and genuinely appreciate that humor. Scarlett makes it blatantly obvious that she doesn't like the "jokes" and it makes her uncomfortable, and Emma Stone agreed. I don't get why people keep trying to play in her face and say stuff like "oh it's hilarious though". The heck?
@m.coleman8 күн бұрын
Finally, someone gets it! It was blatantly obvious from THIS interview that it hurt her feelings and didn't land well (behind the scenes) with at least one other woman on the show. There's no doubt that she has a good sense of humor and went along with it for obvious reasons, but these interviews are very telling. I thought her eyes got watery and could tell she was uncomfortable...but, what is she going to do? I'm sure there were apologies behind the scenes but she's human, why wouldn't/shouldn't we expect a human reaction. It's OK to admit that maybe this went too far. 🤷🏾♀️
@cory54957 күн бұрын
@@m.coleman exactly, none of the other people interviewing her dare to agree with her and admit it went too far. They obviously see that her feelings were hurt, & instead of trying to empathise with her, they laughed in her face and pushed the knife deeper. It was very telling, and I lost respect for both of those ladies interviewing her. They're most likely jealous of Scarlett and her career, and took the opportunity to kick her while she was down, but did so passive-aggressively. And it was gross seeing her husband laugh at the jokes disrespecting her. It's weird seeing them try to disrespect a woman more talented than them, and reduce her to nothing but her looks and her age.
