This place was known to me since I was a little kid ,! This shop belongs to our family friend and still goes there whenever we can . Their butter ( marble cake ) has no competitor anywhere in k. L. Going there these days was like living my childhood days. We're now elderly and our children do patronize this shop whenever they can. Wanted my children to relive our olden days and they love it !! Thanks for making this video onto KZbin ! Mind you their chicken chop was heavenly and a must try item.

对，当时马来西亚的海南人都是帮洋人打工，所以都是做西餐。所以才叫作 ”海南咖啡店", 因为咖啡是西茶。 顺便补充，当时的华人他们的工作一般可以根据籍贯大概归类。福建人/潮州人做渔业或码头工作；客家人开坑，采矿，种植及其他苦工；广东人在市区做贸易；海南人就做西餐给洋人。所以一般只有 “海南咖啡店” 这个讲法，反而没有客家咖啡店，福建咖啡店之类的。其他餐厅都是叫茶餐室 / 茶室。

以前开咖啡店及现在的小吃中心可以说百分百都是海南人做这种生意的,就因为为洋人打工所以学了很会做西餐,咖啡等等, 生意好的时候会很开心語無倫次所以我们叫他们(海南丁)(海南神经病)

The toast is supposed to eat with their butter which was provided. The msrble cake must eat together with a cup of kopi o (coffee ).

As far as I'd know. There isn't any set way of eating the toast, cake or chops. They don't say that you must finish up the chop's gravy with a toasted bread , did they ?

我觉得猪排是最好吃比鸡排还要好吃，那个猪肉卷我不是很喜欢。
