This is one of my all-time favourites. Over time we learn more about how Eustace was mistreated by his mother, which explains why he grew up to be an abusive person himself, which makes the occasional moment of kindness all the more satisfying to watch. It's funny how when Eustace lends his hat to his younger self, Muriel tells Courage: ''You did the impossible, you got Eustace to show kindness.'' Clearly, she doesn't think very highly of her husband lol.

You know there's a theory by fans that the Doctor may not be a real Doctor and that everything he does is malpractice. Honestly, it kind of make sense considering how useless he is. And it wouldn't surprise me if Eustace went with that doctor because he charges more cheap instead of relying on a better pricey doctor. Typical of Eustace.

This one of the episodes I’ve seen most growing up. Gotta say the show can really do emotional moments very well alongside the horror and comedy. The back and forth between Eustace and Shwick was honestly hilarious to me
