At 1:18:31, He's calling her 'her' bc the character IS a her-it's the 'Karen' from the notes you were reading, and the 'her' that the very first note described luring into the barn. She just doesn't have a standard 'female' design, which I appreciate. Though the frame story is, to be fair, hard to internalise when you're running from a farm wife possessed by some sort of hunger ghost and trying to soak innocent chickens in poison.
